Clear floors in small flats: what belongs on the wall
What matters in a small flat
In a small flat, clear floor space is the first thing to run out. A drying rack, a laundry basket and an ironing board are enough, and you can only get through the hallway sideways. That is why we develop products that do their job and then take up as little space as possible.
1. The drying rack belongs on the wall
On laundry days a freestanding airer stands in the middle of the room, and often for the days after, too. A wall-mounted clothes drying rack uses the wall instead. Folded, ours sits just 2.8 cm from the wall, and the floor stays clear.

2. A material that copes with damp
A drying rack often hangs where it is damp, in the bathroom or on the balcony. That is why our wall-mounted drying rack is made of steel and aluminium with a corrosion-resistant coating. Each rod holds up to 5 kg.
3. Only what you need
Living minimally does not mean owning nothing. It means having what you really need, in a form that takes up little space. A wall-mounted drying rack that lies flat against the wall when folded is barely noticeable in the hallway.
4. Finding the right spot on the wall
Before you drill, take a good look at the wall. An alcove, the space beside the window or the wall above the washing machine is often free. If the wall-mounted drying rack sits centred there, the wall looks tidy even when no laundry is hanging.
5. A home you don't have to keep tidying
The less there is in the way, the less you have to move around. If you fold the drying rack, laundry basket and ironing board flat against the wall or put them away after laundry day, the hallway is clear again.
